Closer - Synopsis

Dan (Desmond Tang) is an aspiring novelist who earns his living as an obituarist. Larry (Stephen Au), a handsome, self-assured dermatologist, gets his heart broken and vows never to be hurt again. Anna (Olivia Cheng) is a successful photographer and a recent divorcée. After meeting Dan and a flirtatious stint with him, she marries Larry instead, all the while carrying on a secret affair with Dan. Alice (Perry Chiu) is alone when she comes to London, where she gives herself a new lease on life and completely transforms herself in the process. However, her ingenuousness and directness of approach set her apart from the other character.
